Polentini collects third win of 2026 at Three Rivers Roleo

GREEN BAY, WI — Anthony Polentini had a perfect Three Rivers Roleo performance, sweeping Nick Magnone, Shane Burns and Connor Birdsong 3-0 clean. His 24.5 point lead on Marcus Heineck in the rankings solidifies the top seed position for Polentini at World Championships.

Connor Birdsong defeated Heineck 3-0 in the Theee Rivers Roleo semi-finals and finished second, his best of the season. Heineck defeated Shane Burns 3-1 to finish third, which pushed him to the two seed over Tanner Hallett.

Livi Pappadopoulos, Aini Anderson, and Meredith Ingbretson returned to their first, second, and third place podium positions from the U.S. Open.

Shana Verstegen finished fourth with a hard-fought, 2-3 loss against Ingbretson. Verstegen remains second in the rankings with her two silvers from earlier in the season. As a Level One, the La Crosse Open is weighted higher in the WRS than all other tournaments so far.
