GOLD, SILVER AND BRONZE FOR PAPPADOPOULOS, BIRDSONG AND ANDERSON AT US OPEN; Anderson builds momentum

A beating sun, a roaring crowd and the best pro log rollers in the U.S. met today in Gladstone, MI for the U.S. Open. Livi Pappadopoulos took home the women’s title with a 3-1 semi-final win over Aini Anderson, who finished third overall. Pappadopoulos beat Meredith Ingbretson in the finals, 3-0. Connor Birdsong came in second, losing a close 3-2 finals match against Anthony Polentini.

On the boom, Anderson finished second with a time of 17.06 seconds. Birdsong picked up a third place finish at 14.8 seconds.
